doTerra Essential Oils

I was introduced to doTerra Essential Oils in December 2010.  I was very skeptical.  How can an oil make you feel better?

My son had been on anti-depressants for 8 months and got a cold/sinus infection.  Anti-depressants have a drug interaction with most over the counter medicines, so he was taking Tylenol and it was not working.  A friend of mine asked me about Tyler and I told her he was sick with a cold/sinus infection.  Her response to me was my husband is going to come over and bring you some oils.  He brought peppermint and an oil blend called Breathe.  Within 24 hours Tyler was almost back to normal and in 48 hours had no symptoms of illness.

Essential Oils are amazing.  I love them and use them everyday.  I have replaced my medicine cabinet with them.

Let me answer any questions you may have about Essential Oils.

My Story

In October 2009, I went in for a physical.  I weighed 209 pounds, had a fasting blood sugar of 209, my cholesterol was over 300, and my blood pressure was 180/95.  I was told I was pre-diabetic, I needed cholesterol medicine and blood pressure medicine.  I had very low self esteem and my clothes just kept getting bigger.  My mom and my grandma were both Type 2 adult onset diabetics and I vowed I would not be tied to synthetic medicines to keep me alive.  I was 44 and did not want to live a sickly lifestyle.  Through my full time job, we could be reimbursed for half our gym membership.  I signed up October 28th, 2009 and started working out.  It was TOUGH.  I started with 10 minutes of cardio and could hardly finish.  I wanted to QUIT!  I hated it, but I kept going.  I started to see results.  I started to feel a bit better about myself.

Three years later and lots of hard work, I have lost 55 pounds.  I did not go on any diets - just exercise and changing my eating habits.  I continue to work out and strive to reach my goal.
